Using Obox Mobile 

As mentioned earlier this standalone plugin from the Obox team is pretty upfront and easy to use. In fact, installation and using Obox Mobile can be summarized in six simple steps:

1. Login to wp-admin
2. Go to Plugins > Add New
3. Click Upload
4. Click “Browse” and pick the zip file you downloaded from your profile on obox-design.com
5. Click Install
6. Activate Obox Mobile

Here’s a warning though: if you finished installation and all you see is a white screen when you try to view your mobile site, there is a chance that you have a plugin that is in conflict with Obox Mobile. What you have to do now is to check your plugins one by one (kind of a hassle, right?) and turn them off. Once you pinpoint the exact plugin that is causing the problem, you should report it to the Obox Mobile theme so they can do something about it.

Total control and attractiveness – these are the first two things that will come to mind once you use Obox Mobile. With its comprehensive Control Panel and its pre-installed mobile themes (MobiLight, MobiDark, and WooMobile), taking full control of your mobile website has never been easier.

Developers will also have a field day with Obox Mobile since all it takes is a little CSS modification and you can get an entirely new mobile theme. The Cons of Obox Mobile

Like most mobile marketing plugins and themes, Obox Mobile’s primary downside is the fact that you can see and feel its full potential only on iPhones and other touchscreen devices. You can certainly view your mobile site on BlackBerrys and other QWERTY smartphones but it would not look as good.

One of the others cons to Obox Mobile is how you might have to manually check your plugins if you get the white screen after activation. As of now though, the developers are working on making Obox Mobile more compatible with other plugins.

Lastly, and perhaps one reason for concern, one Obox Mobile license can only be used on one website. If you have multiple websites, Obox Mobile can end up costing you a lot of money and a lot of time in plugin installation.
