If you have never had a membership site before, even if you don’t purchase WP Member Champ, the Jason Fladlien webinar is still well worth watching because it lays out step-by-step, the research and the actions you need to take in order to start your first membership site, and yet not get in over your head. After all, you’ll be a one-man show at least for a while, and you want to keep your customers happy, so it’s best to keep things simple at least at first.
And keeping things simple is exactly what WP Member Champ does best. If you’d like to see a complete feature list of all the available abilities of WP member champ, please check out my other blog post about Member Genius. There you will also find a quick 8 min. video that shows Jason Fladlien putting WP Member Champ through its paces.
Perhaps the number one reason most people are turned off by membership sites, is the problem of content. And that problem is easy to justify after all, I don’t know many people who like writing content, so just imagine being obligated to provide quality content on a daily or weekly basis. However, if you consider the different ways to handle this, and of course WP Member Champ can help, it’s really not that bad.
As a matter fact, some people consider the question of content to be the easiest part of the membership site. Not on that sure I agree with that, but it doesn’t have to be that hard and here are some examples. Content can be videos, which tend to be much easier to provide than written content. Content can also be interviews, which can be easy to get if you go about it the right way (check out interview cash machine, another Jason Fladlien product). One of the nice things about WP Member Champ is it’s ability to only allow paid members to access videos and other paid content, through an easy to set up password login.
Another thing about content is that important to remember that it’s not necessarily the quantity, but the quality of the content that you provide. Jason Fladlien in the webinar says that you only need to freshen up your content on average three times per week, and that doesn’t seem all that difficult, although it will require some work.
So don’t let the issue of content get in the way of you starting your membership site, I can almost guarantee it’s not as bad you are worried about. Using WP Member Champ will keep things simple and allow you to focus on the important things like content. If you follow the steps in the webinar you should soon have your first WP Member Champ powered membership site online and earning you money.
